To meet the latest operational and camouflage requirements, the Austrian glove manufacturer ESKA has made adjustments to its range. The lightweight models VADER and SPARTACUS are now available not only in the colors black, tan, and green but also in stone gray-olive. This means ESKA has the right product for every mission and uniform. We have already subjected the VADER from ESKA to a tough test and presented the results in this review. Now we have the opportunity to introduce you to the SPARTACUS.

The lightweight tactical glove SPARTACUS is certified according to EN 388:2016 (Abrasion Level 2/4, Cut Resistance Level 1/5, Tear Resistance Level 2/5, Puncture Resistance Level 1/4). We have glove size 8 in stone gray olive. The pair weighs only 33 grams.

The backhand and gusset are made of knitted meta-aramid, complemented by a shock-absorbing aramid foam patch, providing protection against heat, sparks, or friction. The flame-retardant upper completes the safety package, ensuring maximum protection.

The excellent craftsmanship at the most important and frequently stressed areas ensures optimal hand protection.

The trigger finger is equipped with a movement fold, allowing it to be used unrestrictedly for firearms.

A foam patch in the ankle area protects against mechanical stress.

And the short, tight cuff with pull aid allows for quick putting on and taking off – perfect when the mission changes. The short and snug cuff makes it easy and fast to put on and take off.

The eyelet allows for attaching carabiners, making the gloves easily accessible on the gear.

The smooth inner hand made of soft-touch Amara with touchscreen cut allows unrestricted control over devices and displays without users having to take off the gloves.

A secure grip in all operational situations and when using various operational tools is crucial for gloves. ESKA has placed great importance on meeting the demands of professionals.

The silicone print on the palm of the SPARTACUS provides excellent grip.

A better fit and finger dexterity are ensured by the ergonomic cut, which is adapted to the natural hand position and box finger construction. The glove SPARTACUS fits like a second skin.

Conclusion

With the model SPARTACUS from ESKA, all necessary tasks can be completed quickly and efficiently. Operational forces benefit from precision and protection. The SPARTACUS from ESKA is the right glove for missions where every movement must be precise. Lightweight design meets uncompromising finger dexterity – developed for special forces or police, where fine work is in focus.

The lightweight tactical glove SPARTACUS from ESKA is available in the colors black, olive, coyote, and stone gray olive. It can be purchased for 59.90 euros directly from the manufacturer or from retailers that carry the brand in their range, such as STEINADLER.
