Firearms
Bundeswehr:

Thank you for the G95KA1

A German panzergrenadier showcases the newly issued HECKLER & KOCH G95KA1 assault rifle, part of the Panzergrenadier Battalion 122's distribution of 300 units. The G95KA1 features advanced optics and will soon be available in the Bundeswehr's new Multitarn camouflage. The rifle replaces the G36 and enhances the unit's capabilities.

Every beginning has its magic. Perhaps that's why there's this hint of a smile on the lips of this panzergrenadier. He is the first German soldier with the HECKLER & KOCH G95KA1, the new standard assault rifle of the German Bundeswehr, freshly issued yesterday.

This is the gifts table. There are three out of 300 that the unit has received. The Panzergrenadier Battalion 122 was the lucky unit that got to be first at this lovely distribution.

Here they stand: These are the proud guys with their new weapons and their vehicle. The new G95KA1 is now as conspicuously colored as the machine gun from the same manufacturer on the right. Multitarn, as the upcoming Bundeswehr camouflage, will change that.

The optics are a Hensoldt 4x ZO with a mounted reflex sight for close range, not the new main battle sight (ELCAN Specter DR). We assume that since the PzGrenBtl 122 is a unit with Puma and IDZ, they simply turned in the G36 and attached the G95 under their HENSOLDT IDZ optics. It's actually a cool optics package. ALL INFO on the new G95 directly from the Bundeswehr.
