That's hot! The summer, of course, and you don't always have to have full length on your legs. Camouflage, on the other hand, can never hurt. In this respect, the Kryptek Shorts from Vertx, available in nocturnal Typhoon and arid Highlander, hits the nerve of the times. And our taste...
There's nothing to report below the knee, the equipment is classic above that. Vertx pants are known for being very "low profile" built. The thigh pockets are not attached, but inserted. This makes them more inconspicuous and also very comfortable, because they don't bulge out so much when something is inside. The Vertx Kryptek Short pocket is reinforced and prepared to hold a pocket knife.
There's still a "secret compartment" in the pocket. Practical for storing money or keys, for example, because it can be closed and secured with a zip.
The back pockets are not inside, but attached like on jeans. You don't always need a flap to close the back pockets. Consistently simple, that's nice. On the front side, there's no surprise either: the shorts are closed with a zip and button.
CONCLUSION: The Vertx Kryptek Shorts have the advantage of Kryptek, which looks very cool. Otherwise, very good and stable short pants, with the pattern being real eye-catchers and already a statement. Pay attention to the fit: the pants are noticeably tighter than other Vertx pants. For example, if you usually wear a size 32, go for 34 here. Otherwise, it may be too tight.
The Vertx Men's Kryptek Shorts are available in Highlander and Typhoon. In Germany, Vertx is available at RECON COMPANY
