REVIEW: Trinity Force Ambi Sling Mount

06/26/2019By Redaktion

The sling strap of the weapon also wants to be attached to this, but sometimes there seems to be no suitable place for it. You need a Sling Mount. We took a look at a simple but very functional Picatinny mount from the company Trinity Force.

This is how you receive the 46g heavy mount. Cardboard, plastic, and a lot of steel including an Allen key. Yes, you read it right, steel and not aluminum or polymer. That also explains the relatively high weight of this sling attachment point. However, it is not, as the packaging suggests, for KeyMod, but for mounting on a Picatinny Rail.

Steel has the advantage that it can withstand a lot, we are excited. Otherwise, the Trinity Force Ambi Sling Mount is very simple. An eyelet with a 25mm diameter and a point of attachment for QD-Slingswivel.

When the QD-Swivel is inserted, it can be rotated a maximum of 45°, so pay attention when inserting it to decide whether you want the eyelet to be horizontal or vertical.

CONCLUSION: Not everything from the Far East has to be bad. The Trinity Force Ambi Sling Mount is a simple piece of steel that securely holds your weapon.

The Trinity Force Ambi Sling Mount is available, for example, at Armamat for 24.90 € excluding shipping.
