REVIEW: Explosive Ops Gear Garmin Foretrex 301/401 Wrist Strap

05/18/2021By Redaktion

Stockings are always good, especially when they hold...…It's easy on the leg, not so much on the arm. Especially when they themselves should carry something: the small Garmin Foretrexes, both in the 301 and 401 versions, are extremely popular navigation aids for special forces in action. HERE is the 401 in the SPARTANAT Review. Only the original wristband definitely cannot withstand the strain, loss is imminent...…So it gets improved.

There are several possibilities for this: other manufacturers prefer small pockets, in which the GPS device is inserted, EOG leaves it exposed and relies on the metal bars with which the Garmin is attached to the strap. Here they come through the two black loops on the right at the eyelet.

The rest is a nearly five centimeters wide band closed with Velcro, padded on the inside with mesh.

CONCLUSION: If you trust the mounting of the Garmins, the Wrist Strap from EOG is a definite improvement for carrying the small GPS helpers on the wrist into action.

You can get the Explosive Ops Gear Garmin Foretrex 301/401 Wrist Strap at OPTATICAL for $29.90 USD.

The Garmin is easily operable due to its free location.
