Glock delights the world again with a new pistol. The Glock 19X is announced. It is somehow a byproduct of the competition for the new US Army service pistol, which SIG won with the P320. That doesn't say anything about the new Glock 19X: it has, in simplified terms, the slide length of a Glock 19, but the frame of a Glock 17.
The frame is smooth in the front and has a lanyard loop at the bottom rear. Not adopted from the Army contest was the manual safety, Glock has remained true to itself. However, the slide stop lever can be operated from both sides. The slide is coated with nPVD to better protect against corrosion. Inside, there is also the Glock Marksman Barrel. At the same time as the Glock 19X, the Glock 26 Gen 5 and the Glock 34 Gen 5 MOS, with a mounted red dot sight, have also been released. You can see all the new features of the Glock 19X described in detail in the video review by Sootch Gear above. HERE is the countdown page for the G19X release (with product video).
