Enforce Tac 17 - A big plus for governmental security

03/07/2017By Redaktion
The 6th Enforce Tac - International Exhibition & Conference Law Enforcement, Security and Tactical Solutions concluded after two days of exhibition and conference at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center with a consistently positive result: the number of exhibiting companies increased by 42 percent compared to the previous year to 214, the exhibition area increased by around 80 percent, and the number of trade visitors increased by 38 percent to a total of 3,810.
The challenges facing public authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) have been steadily increasing in recent years: internationally operating terrorist groups target internal security, and attacks on police officers and emergency services are on the rise. Many countries are now aware of the urgency to increase their security forces both in personnel and in providing them with modern, appropriate equipment for new operational scenarios. Enforce Tac annually showcases the latest equipment for official security forces. In addition to the exhibiting companies, the event also includes two conferences for police and governmental security experts.
Patron of Enforce Tac in 2017 was once again the Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann, who emphasized the need for modern equipment at a reception for exhibitors during the fair. In addition to official weapons and ammunition, ballistic accessories, optics and optronics, communication technology, tactical equipment, and operational vehicles, the exhibiting companies presented personal protective equipment such as bulletproof vests, stab-resistant vests, body armor, facial protection, shields, and helmets.

As a special exhibition, access to Enforce Tac is reserved exclusively for representatives of relevant authorities such as police, justice, border security, customs, and military police/armed forces, as well as authorized wholesalers upon presentation of credentials. We at SPARTANAT are particularly pleased to have been media partners of Enforce Tac in 2017.

Accompanying technical conferences

Alongside the exhibitor offerings at Enforce Tac, there were two additional opportunities for professional information, training, and exchange among international colleagues: the European Police Trainer Conference (EPTK) and the "Arms and Equipment Technology" conference of the German Police University in Münster.

The Police Trainer in Germany e.V. cooperates with NürnbergMesse to organize the EPTK. The two-day conference presents the latest developments, techniques, and technologies, as well as their practical application in training sessions. This year, the conference focused on tactics in the event of rampages and suicide attacks, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and the use of vehicles as cover.
