The FBI is here

The FBI? No, not personally. But at least the helmet that the FBI has chosen for itself. And it comes – tada – from Busch PROtective from Germany. A good reason to take a closer look at this fine piece at the Behördentagen 2025. 

It is a helmet, a Halfcut: The helmet system AMP-1 X has been specifically developed for police and security forces. It offers a lighter alternative to the AMP-1 TP and features a no-drill-through mounting system – no holes in the shell – as well as a perfectly balanced ratio of protection, weight, and wearing comfort. 

They are supposed to be softened: Inside, the Busch PROtective helmet looks extremely comfortable. The good padding also contributes to the protective effect in case of a hit. 

Adjustable from the back, the harness is also of the highest quality. 

View from the back: The AMP-1 X has passed the updated DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol V 2.0 2024, issued by the FBI's Ballistic Research Facility (BRF), as well as the VPAM HVN 2009, the NIJ-Level-IIIA testing, and the STANAG-2920 standard. This means: with a lot of research and development work, Busch PROtective has extracted the best mix with the ideal combination of low weight and high protection class from the challenge set by the FBI.
