When we travel, the equipment we carry must always be camouflaged. Is it tactically necessary? No, more of a quirk. At the moment, we prefer the "Einstrich Keinstrich" pattern, the camouflage pattern of the National People's Army (NVA) of the GDR. Not a political statement, just a stylistic one. The closure bags from Langbrett are our toiletry bag in use.
The closure bags from Langbrett are available in two sizes. The regular NVA closure bag is next to the small one. The toothbrush that needs to be included gives you the size dimension. The whole thing is made from traditional NVA tent fabric.
Inside, there is no organization, by design. We have toothpaste, toothbrush, and contact lens stuff in here. One bag, one handle, everything you need.
It closes with a solid zipper. The seams are done with a fresh orange thread, adding a nice, civil contrast.
The bag also has a loop for attaching it or pulling it out of a bag.
And there's also a nice aluminum button attached for its original function.
Inside the regular closure bag, there's also the small one.
The smaller one has the same structure but is significantly smaller.
We use it for transporting medication for the morning after (aspirin). And for close combat tools for when a man had to get physical.
CONCLUSION: Langbrett delivers two practical bags with a distinctive style. Practical for organizing your luggage or backpack. If you like the camo pattern, Langbrett also has the great GDR Shoes in this pattern – HERE in the SPARTANAT Review.
You can get the Langbrett NVA closure bags directly from the manufacturer. The regular NVA closure bag costs 20 euros. The small one is available for 12 euros.
