TCCC: RISE stabilizes you

There is a new splint from TacMed Solutions. The special thing about it is its very compact size. This RISE (Rigid Immobilization System for Extremities) Splint is mainly intended as a splint for extremities. It is simply unfolded and secured with the arm or leg.

The application is very well shown in the video by TacMed Solutions.

The RISE splint looks very promising, especially because it has a very small pack size, so three to four can easily be carried in a backpack.

In combination with a tourniquet, the RISE can also be used for pelvic stabilization. This is shown in the video. The RISE Splint costs $24.79, but is not yet approved for international sales. Authorities are more likely to be able to obtain this product.
