New weapon laser: KIJI by B.E. MEYERS

11/12/2021By Redaktion

B.E. MEYERS brings light into the world, at least when it comes to infrared and laser. Just presented one of their latest weapon lasers. After the excellent MAWL, the KIJI is a marvel of compactness, can be mounted on weapons and gear.

KIJI™ is the most powerful, modular, VCSEL-based infrared laser illuminator available on the market. The KIJI K1-3˚ is a Class 3R laser device, similar to the illuminating power of the MAWL-DA. The KIJI K1-3˚ emits up to 150 mW and the KIJI K1-10˚ emits up to 350 mW of flawless infrared laser illumination. Both models have four programmable power levels and are equipped with a beam diffuser that allows quick adjustment of beam intensity and divergence to ensure the best irradiance on the target in any situation.

Excitingly, it looks like a small Surefire flashlight. As a modular infrared illuminator, the KIJI supports a variety of scenarios, from illuminating interiors to lighting up hundreds of meters on an SPR.

The KIJI is available in two models. By combining the included 10° diffuser with the KIJI K1-3˚ and the included 40° diffuser with the KIJI K1-10˚, the KIJI offers the user flexibility in terms of power, beam behavior, and mounting hardware. This makes the KIJI an extremely powerful and cost-effective laser illuminator that can meet all IR lighting scenarios and platform requirements.

KIJI is compatible and interchangeable with most common CR123 flashlight bodies and mounts from the Surefire 300 series, offering nearly limitless versatility in handheld, helmet, weapon, vehicle, or aircraft-mounted applications.

This laser illuminator is designed to be used with the user's preferred and already available mounting hardware or remote control options - making installation and adjustment as easy as using the parts and switches you already know and train with.

And this is what the KIJI looks like on the weapon. Extremely exciting concept, at first glance, and also convincing in terms of price: a friendly $699 is listed. HERE you can get the KIJI directly from the manufacturer and also find all technical data.

Steele Industries have the first video on the new KIJI.
