To ensure everything holds together well, the seat of the pants is doubled up. The Rip Stop fabric of the Kreuzotter set is also clearly visible in the image. At the moment, the fabric does not have NIR properties. That could change in a Premium Edition...
The lower leg adjustment is done very easily with Velcro.
The pocket for the lower leg must never be missing in the gear of a motorist army.
The "American Gloves" are naturally designed in a good size so that you can fit your whole hand into the pocket. The pants are closed correctly with Velcro and a zipper.
We really like the new NOVRITSCH Kreuzotter pattern. This is probably because we like Tigerstripe and find the colors of the new camouflage pattern very attractive. But as mentioned, adjustments can still be made to the color palette.
The thigh pockets are designed similar to Crye's design. The convenient rubber loop as a drink holder is sewn into it. The knife compartment is also very practical.
There is a slightly smaller Velcro pocket on the front over the knees. The elastic for adjusting the height of the knee pads is also hidden there. Colorwise, we feel that the tan knee pads don't match one hundred percent, but fortunately, that can be easily adjusted.
The pads can be relatively easily replaced. Taking them out is obviously easier than putting them back in.
The Kreuzotter pants are equipped with a Velcro strap here. This allows the stretch fabric at the knee to be covered if you don't want to wear knee padding.
Here is one knee with a protector and one knee without. Each to their own preference.
CONCLUSION: We like what we see, both the pattern and the craftsmanship. With the Viper pattern, NOVRITSCH has introduced its first own camouflage pattern to the market. The Combat Uniform is solidly made and feels good to wear.
As mentioned, the cut is already familiar. In the next few days, we want to take this uniform into the woods and put the camouflage effectiveness of the Viper pattern to the test. We are confident that the pattern will work well.
We are also curious to see where the final price will land, we estimate between 100-120 Euros.
