It has been 25 years since designer Dietmar Pohl created his first knife design with the Magnum Collection 1995. The focus of his developments has always been in the area of tactical use knives, whose current image he has strongly influenced. It was always important to him to exchange experiences intensively with special units around the world, in order to be able to incorporate real operational experiences into his designs.
When it came to the development of the Magnum Collection 2020, it was clear from the beginning that it had to be a modern and tactical design that should not deny its roots from the designer's early years. The CNC-milled handle takes up the flow of the Magnum Collection 1995, but at the same time, the knife gets the classic Tactical Look through the Pohl-typical slot-hole fastening and the deep finger grooves, which the designer has been known for for many years.

He skillfully combines old and new elements and allows the collector to participate in his design language, which he has developed over 25 years. With the hefty Spear Point blade with a 5 mm thick D2 steel hollow grind, he gives the knife the performance characteristics that one can expect from a true utility knife. The full-tang handle gives the Magnum Collection 2020 both the necessary balance and stability to reliably use it under extreme conditions. The stone-washed surface makes the blade relatively resistant to scratches and other signs of wear. This process also helps make the blade more corrosion-resistant. The black G-10 handle scales were matte finished by sandblasting and provide an elegant contrast to the blade.
With the Magnum Collection 2020 Pohl Force Upgrade variant, designer Dietmar Pohl realizes his very personal concept of the design. The Upgrade variant features the Pohl Force typical lanyard, a Kydex sheath developed exclusively for the model in Coyote Brown, a collector's bag with a zip fastener, and a 3D Pohl Design anniversary patch. Only 200 pieces will be converted to the Upgrade variant by Pohl Force. Additionally, the blade features a special laser engraving.
