Robot from the backpack for the US Army

04/07/2019By Redaktion

Already in fiscal year 2020, the U.S. Army plans to equip soldiers with robots from QinetiQ North America. The new robots are based on the smallest robot called "Dragon Runner" from QinetiQ and are designed to fit into a backpack. The weight of the system is said to be a maximum of 12 kilograms. These small robots are primarily intended for reconnaissance in buildings, tunnels, and other tight spaces where enemy contact is expected. Find more information HERE.
