Cable switch: UNITY Tactical TAPS-DBAL

The TAPS (Tactical Augmented Pressure Switch) from TNVC and Unity Tactical is a complete control system for weapon-mounted electronics. It provides a flat, dual-device control for Surefire/Modlite weapon lights and Steiner DBAL lasers. TAPS-DBAL can be mounted directly, whether on M1913 Picatinny, KEYMOD, or M-LOK rails. TAPS-DBAL was specifically designed for use with Steiner DBAL-A3 and A4 models as well as Surefire and Modlite weapon lights.

TAPS-DBAL enables full utilization of the unique "Visible Override" feature of the DBAL-A3 and A4 lasers. The Y-Splitter Crane Laser cables are plugged into the Standard and Visible Override ports on the back of the laser. The light cable is plugged into the Surefire or Modlite port.

Button 1 triggers the DBAL laser in the manually selected setting on the laser housing. Button 2 activates the visible white light and visible DBAL laser, regardless of whether the target laser is set to an infrared setting.

TAPS-DBAL is the only switch that provides the full functionality of the DBAL-A3/A4 Visible Override feature. This capability gives the user unparalleled control over their light/laser combination in all tactical situations. In Germany you can get UNITY Tactical at the POL-TEC Shop.
