For several years, buckles on the carrier have been very modern, no wonder they facilitate getting in and out. They also help in attending to the wounded on the ground, as the plate carrier can be easily opened. Until now, ROC was the common buckle model. Now ZENTAURON has decided to switch. 

The Spider Quick Release – here on the shoulder – is a very nice plastic part. And extremely functional. It also works with dirt and snow. And the pull aids with the little grenade are as fun as they are practical. 

The man needs Velcro. It is at the front on the chest, so you can attach the patches you need. 

Below, a massive Velcro surface for the placard or the magazine pouches, which come here in front of the stomach. 

There’s the Spider again. We like it even better large on the sides. This is one of the best buckle variations we know, as it is very smooth and easy to handle.

Here are the teeth of the closure. They grip well and can be closed quietly. 

The cummerbund from the inside. It readily accommodates soft ballistic protection. 

On the outside, it is full of MOLLE and can be configured with pouches as you need. 

The transition from the cummerbund to the back is designed flexibly. This ensures that you don't run out of breath during tight fits and movement. 

We fold up the flap. Underneath is the very pragmatic adjustment mechanism for the cummerbund. It’s fastened with Velcro as needed. 

And MOLLE for a storm pack or the attachment of a hydration bladder in a carrier. 

Also Velcro at the back: you can never carry enough patches. Above you see the carrying straps, they are as Spartan as they come. If you want padding, you can find it in the ZENTAURON shop. 

The inside of the Vulcan IV is equipped with mesh to allow it to breathe on the body. On the Velcro strips, you can attach pads to create space from the body, allowing for a light airflow to ease the work with the added weight. 

And what does a plate carrier do? It carries plates. You can place soft ballistic protection and plates here, separated into compartments. And there’s also a fastening strap for the plate. That’s good, so if sand loosens the Velcro of the compartment, the plate can’t fall on your toes.
