The A4 format fits in easily. There is enough room to store a clipboard as well.

The rear main compartment is the larger one and is about 5 cm wide. The front one is narrower at 2 cm. We are currently using the ZENTAURON map runner bag as a shooting essentials bag. Inside are the shooting book, targets, and other small items that are always needed.
