YETI Holdings, Inc. has announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire MYSTERY RANCH, a manufacturer of tactical, hunting, and outdoor backpacks based in Bozeman, Montana. Matt Reintjes, President and CEO of YETI, emphasized in a press release on the acquisition the similarity of products and customers.
"MYSTERY RANCH Packs has earned a global reputation in the most demanding communities by producing rugged gear that performs in the toughest environments. Their ethos, passion, and employees not only match the YETI team but also our commitment to innovation and our customers," said Reintjes. "Their community, ambassadors, and pursuit of quality make them a natural addition to YETI. Dana Gleason, co-founder of MYSTERY RANCH, confirmed the synergy. "The passion of YETI for innovation and the outdoors exactly matches our founding vision," he said in a press release. "We know that YETI is the perfect partner to build on our long history of manufacturing the world's best rugged gear for both the most extreme users and everyday use."
