This text discusses outdoor adventures with WI-OUTDOOR, focusing on survival and bushcraft experiences. The company offers unique trips to off-the-beaten-path destinations, emphasizing group dynamics and a worry-free package for customers.
Outdoors on tours where there is room for adventure. And sometimes with two wolfhounds. We talked to Raoul Sous about WI-OUTDOOR, about survival and bushcraft. And also about his knives and gear that comes from WI.
SPARTANAT: Raoul, why go out with WI? What makes the experience with you different from others? What does WI-OUTDOOR offer?
WI-OUTDOOR was launched with the premise that fun should be the top priority.
On our trips, we only go to spots that are not necessarily found in travel guides. Unlike a self-sufficient trip to unknown territories or the offerings of many large agencies, we use good contacts at the travel destinations so that we can work in an original outdoor manner with survival and bushcraft elements. This makes the stay a different experience than when camping side by side with several other groups while the surroundings do not provide any more firewood.
From leisurely canoe tours in glamping style, to rugged mountain hikes with minimal gear, to extensive survival courses in the African steppe. In all this, we also place emphasis on good group dynamics. Even if you book an outdoor trip, it should still feel like a vacation.
As a customer, you always receive a worry-free package, so that there are no hidden costs or things that need to be booked independently.
In addition to the trips, we offer survival and bushcraft seminars conducted on a fenced-in, 30-hectare area in the Eifel region.
The reporting on Rüdiger Nehberg (R.I.P. Sir Vival!) once shaped the image of the word survival. From maggot consumption to deprivation with water and mud, it almost verged on disgust. In contrast, our motto goes in the direction of how our ancestors dealt with survival situations as a normal reality for millennia. This includes being able to ensure a supply of rich food and clean drinking water even in the most adverse conditions. Furthermore, nights should be warm/dry and thus restful.
