Image of likely DEVGRU operator with unique gear: sleeveless Crye top, Ops-Core FAST Ballistic helmet with PrincetonTec MLPS, new NVG shroud from Ops-Core. Possible new VAS for teams. HK416 with transparent Lancer L5 mags and Magpul BAD Lever.
The gentleman here probably belongs to DEVGRU and participated in a shoot for Mission First Tactical: The first thing that stands out is that the operator is handling the expensive Crye tops terribly. The sleeves were brutally cut off. Especially exciting is the helmet, an Ops-Core FAST Ballistic, which is used here without rails, but with a mounted PrincetonTec MLPS. Even more exciting - especially considering the fact that L2G05 has not been produced for months - is that we see a new NVG shroud from Ops-Core here with a fixed arm from Wilcox. This part was just presented at Shot Show 2012: here is a photo of it. Could this suggest that Ops-Core will prevail with its new VAS among the teams? By the way, the guy from the night vision device doesn't tell us anything. However, there are two peculiarities with the HK416: the possible DEVGRU here uses transparent Lancer L5 Magazines and has a Magpul BAD Lever on the weapon. (Click on the image to enlarge.)
