Contract: APS Trophy for Leopard 2A8

Nothing is well protected if it is not actively protected: EuroTrophy GmbH is pleased to receive the order from KNDS (KMW+NEXTER Defense Systems) for the Leopard 2 A8 programs for Germany and Norway. The active protection system Trophy was selected by KNDS as part of the new standard configuration Leopard 2 A8.

In February 2023, the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA) awarded KNDS the contract to deliver 54 Leopard 2 A8 battle tanks, all of which are to be equipped with the active protection system Trophy. In addition, the Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) signed a framework contract with KMW in May 2023 for the delivery of up to 123 Leopard 2 in A8 standard configuration.
