USSOCOM has decided on a new PEQ box

USSOCOM has been looking for a new Squad Aiming Laser (SAL) and has now found one. L3 has been awarded a contract worth 48 million US dollars for their Next Generation Aiming Laser (NGAL). The NGAL will replace the AN/PEQ-15 (and its variants). Below, in the attached image, you can find the requirements that USSOCOM has for the new SAL - along with a picture of the old AN/PEQ-15.
