A surprise only for inexperienced observers: American special forces on the Philippines in action, very close to the contested city of Marawi. The soldiers, presumably members of a US Army Special Forces Group, have drones loaded on their SUV and also fly the things in the video. They observe what is happening in the enemy area through the control. Information that is very important for the Philippine armed forces.

In Marawi, a group uprising occurred, which some see more as criminals, but who have apparently joined the Islamic State. The militant group, which cooperates with the al-Qaida-affiliated Abu Sayyaf group and increasingly sees itself as part of the Islamic State, has tried to conquer a first city with unexpectedly strong forces. HERE you can find more information about the fighting in the Philippines.
