US Army selects B&T APC9K as new subcompact
The US Army selected the APC9K from B&T after a tender process lasting less than a year. Initial order for 350 units with potential for 1,000. APC9K shown is the commercial version, but army version will be similar. Visit B&T and US Army websites for more info.
The tender lasted less than a year and the US Army has chosen the APC9K from B&T. 
Since May 2018, 15 models from six providers have been tested. The strongest competitor was certainly SIG SAUER. Initially, 350 units are ordered, with the option of 1,000 units if everything is in order. 
Please note that the APC9K shown here is the commercially available version. The version for the US Army will be very similar to it.
