US Army M4 contract awarded to a new bidder
After Colt objected, the US Army re-awarded a contract for new M4A1 rifles. Remington lost to FN, with a contract of USD 77 million for 120,000 rifles.
After an objection from Colt, the US Army has re-awarded a contract for the production of new M4A1 rifles. Originally Remington had won the contract, and this time - following the saying: "when two quarrel, the third one rejoices" - FN was awarded the contract. The total volume is expected to be around USD 77 million and include 120,000 rifles.
