CURRENT: US Army - Glock stops SIG

SIG Sauer is not done yet with the victory in the Modular Handgun System Contract for the US Army. The finalist Glock - which was actually the favorite for many - files a protest against the XM17 contract winner. SIG won the MHS contract with a variant of their P320 pistol with the Compact frame. The news of SIG's success was announced on January 19, the day before the inauguration of the new US President and his administration.
