The Ukrainian Armed Forces are said to have carried out the largest series of drone attacks on targets in Russia overnight from August 31 to September 1.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their attacks in the Kursk region on September 1, but no Ukrainian advances have been confirmed.
Recent Russian opinion polls suggest that the Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk region has not temporarily diminished Russian support for the war in Ukraine, and that Russian support for the war has remained consistently high since 2022.
Russian forces have recently advanced north of Kharkiv, southeast of Kupiansk, southeast of Pokrovsk, and southwest of Donetsk.
