Ukraine:

The situation 900 - August 30, 2024

European Union representatives are divided on allowing Ukraine to use European-supplied weapons against Russia. Russian and Ukrainian forces make minor progress in the Kursk region. Venezuelan extradition of Colombian volunteers to Russia reflects growing Russian-Venezuelan cooperation.

08/31/2024

The representatives of the member states of the European Union (EU) continue to disagree on whether Ukraine should be allowed to use the weapons supplied by Europe for attacks on military targets in Russia.

According to Russian sources, Ukrainian and Russian forces made slight progress in the Kursk region on August 30.

State Russian research institutes note that the dissatisfaction of the Russian population with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian authorities has only slightly increased in light of the Ukrainian invasion in the Kursk region.

Venezuela has extradited Colombian citizens who fought in the Ukrainian army to Russia, highlighting the growing Russian-Venezuelan cooperation and Venezuelan support for the Russian war.
