Satellite images confirm that the Ukrainian Air Force conducted a successful strike against a suspected Russian regimental command post in the Belgorod Oblast at the end of June 2024, likely using weapons provided by the West - further evidence of how Ukraine could disrupt Russian offensive operations if the West lifts the restrictions that prohibit Ukraine from using Western-supplied weapons to target military objectives in Russia.
Ukrainian drone operators appear to be improving their ability to intercept Russian drones of greater range in the air, and these technological innovations could allow Ukrainian armed forces to reduce pressure on short and medium-range air defense systems when deployed on a larger scale.
Chechen "Achmat" special forces (pictured above) forced a Russian military blogger to publicly apologize after he criticized the "Achmat" forces - a blatant example of the unprofessionalism of the Russian military.
