Ukrainian armed forces attacked Russian air defense systems in occupied Crimea on the night of June 9-10, presumably using ATACMS.

On June 10, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces had hit a Russian S-400 air defense battery near the occupied Dzhankoi and two S-300 batteries near the occupied villages of Chornomorske and Yevpatoria ….. ISW has no visual confirmation of the extent of damage caused by the Ukrainian attacks.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Southern Operations Command, Captain Dmytro Pletenchuk, denied on June 10 a report from Sky News that Ukrainian forces had hit a Russian Ropucha-class landing ship in the Azov Sea on the night of June 8-9.

On June 10, the new Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov met with a selected group of Russian military bloggers and military commentators, suggesting that the Kremlin intends to use the replacement of the widely unpopular former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu by Belousov as an opportunity to build bridges and maintain relations with a broader community of military bloggers through a group of co-opted and loyal military commentators.
