Senator Warner announced US military aid to Ukraine, including ATACMS missiles, would be delivered by end of the week if Senate passed bill on April 23. President Zelensky expressed hope that aid would stabilize the front line and enable Ukrainian armed forces to take the initiative.
The Chairman of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Mark Warner, announced on April 21 that US military aid to Ukraine, including ATACMS long-range missiles, would be delivered to Ukraine "by the end of the week" if the Senate passed the supplemental appropriations bill on April 23 and US President Joe Biden signed it by April 24. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on April 21 that the rapid delivery of US military aid to Ukraine could enable the Ukrainian armed forces to stabilize the front line and take the initiative.
