Europe's and Asia's allies in America have significantly increased their efforts to support Ukraine.
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, declared on February 6 that the European Council and the European Parliament had reached a provisional agreement on the creation of a new earmarked instrument - the Ukraine Facility - to consolidate the recently announced EU aid package for Ukraine amounting to 50 billion euros (around 54 billion US dollars) for the period 2024-2027. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that the EU intends to start making payments under the Ukraine Facility in March 2024.
The US Army plans to significantly increase domestic production of 155mm artillery shells and grenade parts for Ukraine in 2024 and 2025, if Congress passes the additional budget bill.
According to reports, Russian authorities pay Iran around 4.5 billion US dollars annually for the import of Iranian Shahed drones for use in Ukraine.
