The Russian military conducted drone attacks on Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defense shooting down 29 drones. Damage was reported in various oblasts, including infrastructure and energy facilities. Full details available at Understanding War.
The Russian armed forces conducted a series of drone attacks against Ukraine during the night from November 17 to 18.
Ukrainian military sources reported on November 18 that Ukrainian air defense shot down 29 out of 38 Russian Shahed-131/136 drones over several unspecified oblasts. The Ukrainian Southern Operations Command reported that Russian Shaheds hit an energy infrastructure facility and an administrative building in Odesa Oblast. The Ukrainian Northern Operations Command reported that Russian Shaheds also damaged infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv Oblast. Russian military bloggers claim that Russian armed forces hit an oil storage facility in Altestove (Odesa Oblast), Starokostyantyniv airfield (Khmelnytsky Oblast), and the city of Kyiv (Kyiv Oblast).
