Ukrainian forces advanced further south of Robotyne in the western Zaporizhzhia Oblast and reportedly advanced near Bakhmut on September 10.
Geolocated material released on September 10 shows Ukrainian forces advancing east of Novoprokopivka (18 km southeast of Orikhiv). The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Tavriisk group, Oleksandr Shtupun, noted that Ukrainian forces continue to advance near Robotyne (12 km south of Orikhiv) and have liberated 1.5 square kilometers of territory in that direction. The spokesperson for the Ukrainian General Staff and the Ukrainian Eastern group of forces, Ilya Yevlash, reported that Ukrainian forces achieved an unspecified success near Klishtivka (7 km southwest of Bakhmut) in the Donetsk region.
On September 10, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, stated that the Russian military has over 420,000 soldiers stationed in occupied Ukraine, not including the Rosgvardia (Russian National Guard) and similar military units and structures.
