The Biden administration announced a new military aid package of $2.2 billion for Ukraine on February 3, which includes precision long-range rockets for HIMARS.
The package includes Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bombs (GLSDM) that increase the range of HIMARS from about 80 km to 151 km. It also includes Javelin anti-tank systems, two HAWK anti-aircraft guns, regular HIMARS ammunition, as well as 120mm mortars and 155mm artillery shells.
