A Ukrainian intelligence officer explains that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian military to take control of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts by March 2023, confirming the most likely course of action (MLCOA) by ISW for a Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine.
The representative of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Andriy Chernyak, told the "Kyiv Post" on February 1st that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian military to take control of the entire Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts by March 2023. Chernyak also stated that the Russian armed forces are relocating additional, unspecified attack groups, units, weapons, and military equipment to unspecified areas in eastern Ukraine, likely in the Luhansk region.
