Russian forces make small territorial gains in Luhansk on March 14, while focusing on logistics and reinforcement. Efforts to replace combat losses with non-Russian forces are unlikely to enable major offensives.
The Russian forces made small territorial gains in the Luhansk region on March 14, but have not conducted major attacks towards Kyiv or northeastern Ukraine. The Russian forces continue to gather reinforcements and try to improve logistical support both towards Kyiv and in the south. The ongoing Russian efforts to replace combat losses with Russian replacement personnel and non-Russian forces, including Syrian fighters and the Wagner group, are unlikely to enable Russia to conduct major offensive operations again next week.
Both Russian and Chinese officials have denied reports from the US intelligence agency that Russia has requested military assistance from China. Both state that Russia does not need additional military support.
