The Ukrainian and Russian authorities accuse each other of shelling the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Energoatom reports damage from Russian shelling, while Russia claims Ukrainian shelling caused a fire.
The Ukrainian and Russian occupying authorities accused each other of shelling the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant on August 11. The Ukrainian nuclear company Energoatom reports that the Russian shelling damaged the commander's office, the storage for radiation sources, and the nearby fire station. The fire station is located about 5 km east of the NPP. The Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communications explains that the Russian forces are intentionally provoking the NPP and conducting dangerous experiments with power lines to accuse the Ukrainian forces before the United Nations Security Council. On the other hand, the head of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia region appointed by Russia, Yevhen Balitsky, claims that the Ukrainian shelling damaged the high-voltage line "Kakhovska," leading to a fire and a large smoke cloud visible in the city through social media.

Russian forces are conducting ground attacks east of Siversk, as well as northeast and southeast of Bakhmut.
Russian forces continue their ground attacks on the northern and southwestern outskirts of Donetsk.
Ukrainian officials confirmed additional Ukrainian attacks on Russian command posts and ammunition depots along the southern axis.
