Russian forces continue offensive operations in eastern Ukraine without confirmed ground attack successes as of June 7th. Potential control of Sverdlovsk, troop movements near Bakhmut, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Kherson Oblast.
The Russian forces have continued their offensive operations in multiple locations in eastern Ukraine, but as of June 7th, they have not been able to achieve confirmed successes in ground attacks. The Russian forces likely have taken control of most of Sverdlovsk, but ISW cannot confirm the exact extent of control within the city.

Additionally, Russian forces are relocating their troops east of Bakhmut to renew their offensives, secure access to highways northeast of Bakhmut, and threaten Ukrainian communication lines. Russian troops north of Sloviansk are likely to attempt to advance towards Sloviansk and Kramatorsk from their positions north of the city. Russian forces on the southern axis are reportedly shifting from the Zaporizhzhia Oblast towards the Kherson Oblast, likely to secure Russian defensive positions threatened by Ukrainian counterattacks along the border between the Mykolaiv and Kherson Oblasts south of the Davydiv Bridge.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that Russian forces have restored transit connections between the newly occupied cities and Crimea.
The Russian occupation authorities continue to face the challenge of suppressing Ukrainian resistance and finding supporters of the partisans despite increasingly draconian occupation measures and bribery attempts against the Ukrainian civilian population.
