UKRAINE: The laser detector on the Russian helmet

Wars are always a matter of technology, and it is exciting to see what is new. In the Ukraine war, it is no different, but especially on the Russian side, you have to say: There is nothing new in the East. However, a Wagner fighter has now been found with this small "device," a laser warning device that is worn on the helmet in the image above.

These are the technical data for the "Spider," whose manufacturing company seems to be located in Finland:

– Batteries: 2x CR 123 per USB

– Wavelength range: 900nm to 1554 nm

– Usage time with one battery charge: 12 hours

– Warning is given acoustically, through vibration or LED and also indicates the approximate direction of the laser source.
