Discover UF-PRO's new MultiCam low-temperature line designed for extreme cold conditions. With improved versions of four tactical winter garments, this line promises increased durability, noise reduction, and optimal performance.
Freezing is lame, so better dress warmly. For those who also want to be well camouflaged, UF-PRO now has just the thing: tactical high-performance winter clothing in MultiCam. The garments that make up the new " MultiCam low-temperature line" from UF-PRO will be available on October 20th. The product line consists of improved versions of the four existing UF-PRO products:
Each of these products is designed in its improved form for use in temperatures ranging from mild to very cold, so well below freezing. In addition, the new MultiCam fabric from which the quartet was made promises significant performance benefits.
"With this new MultiCam material, wearers can work more comfortably and efficiently in extremely cold weather conditions, characterized by icy winds, snow, and drizzle," says Armin Wagner, head of development at UF-PRO - HERE in our SPARTANAT interview.
Advantages of the MultiCam low-temperature line include increased durability and extremely strong noise reduction. "The material is a laminate, the outer material is textured 100% polyamide, which feels soft and is layered over a highly breathable inner polyurethane membrane. The outer layer is interwoven with a special ripstop technique. Consequently, these garments last longer - they are much more robust, especially in terms of their resistance to tears, color loss, and friction," Wagner explains.
Another major advantage of the MultiCam low-temperature line, according to Armin Wagner, is noise reduction: "These improved garments create much less noise while the wearer is in motion. Normally, the laminate fabric produces a distinctive noise that is easy to hear. But due to the composition and softness of the new MultiCam material, the noises that could expose camouflage are minimized."
"The Delta AcE Plus Gen.2 Tactical Winter Jacket is designed for strenuous activities in very cold conditions," he says. "To ensure the jacket provides the necessary warmth, we have added G-Loft insulation to the sleeves and used 37.5™ microfleece as the lining. Meanwhile, the Delta OL 3.0 Tactical Winter Jacket is suitable for those seeking the ultimate outerwear for cold weather. It has been developed for circumstances where one must remain immobile for a long time while icy winds with heavy rain or snow relentlessly strike. Here too, we have reinforced the elbows with CORDURA fabric."
Lastly, our AcE Winter Combat Shirt is designed to be worn in extremely low temperatures. It offers all the benefits of a combat shirt, but is especially suitable for icy temperatures where one must wear a plate carrier or backpack.
Later this year, UF-PRO will also include the Hunter FZ Gen.2 Softshell Jacket in the MultiCam low-temperature line.
