U.S. Coast Guard trains with SIG P229 Airsoft pistol
SIG Sauer is providing the US Coast Guard with SIG AIR Pro Force P229 Airsoft Pistols for training. These gas-powered replicas have a blowback mechanism and will soon be available to civilians in 2019. Visit SIG Sauer's website for more information.
As SIG Sauer announces in a press release, they are equipping the US Coast Guard with SIG AIR Pro Force P229 Airsoft Pistols. These will be used in training sessions by the Coast Guard. The Airsoft model is an exact replica of the real one and is gas-powered, including a blowback mechanism. The only unrealistic part may be the 25-round magazine.
