Drones
Behördentage 2026:

Hit the drone

Modern soldiers face threats from FPV drones on the battlefield, necessitating effective defense methods. SWISS P DEFENCE introduces SHATTER4K, a unique ammunition designed to improve hit probability against drones by embedding multiple projectiles. This innovative solution allows standard weapons to engage aerial targets more effectively.

The look upwards is part of the soldier's profession today, for from there can come what can quickly cost you your life. FPV drones on the battlefield are a plague. And if you can't see them, a disgusting buzzing reveals their presence. How can one defend against them? Well, the last option is to shoot at them. The shotgun is making a return in the troops, but you can also use an assault rifle, even with better range. Regular ammunition makes a hole, buckshot spreads, the professional compromise comes from SWISS P DEFENCE.

And it is available for 5.56 to .50. It looks normal, can be fired from standard weapons. However, it works differently because the secret is in the projectile. The “projectile” is a driving mirror, in which four real bullets are embedded as projectiles. Now you can target incoming drones with an assault rifle or machine gun. This is called SHATTER4K.

What comes out spreads out, increasing the likelihood of hitting the flying target. Tests have shown that with a three-shot burst, 12 bullets can penetrate an area of under 3 x 3 meters at 100 meters.

Those from SWISS P DEFENCE have really tested this and sacrificed somewhat more expensive drones from quality manufacturers. One can see how the bullets penetrated the casing. HERE you can find all the information about SHATTER4K.

You don’t have to be Old Shatterhand to fire SHATTER4K, the anti-drone ammunition from SWISS P DEFENCE. But maybe it helps with the shooting. Ultimately, this is also just a “last ditch” defense for the shooter when everything else fails. On the other hand, if we study Ukraine videos, we see not a few drones being shot down with assault rifles. HERE is the drone defense channel by SPARTANAT, where you can find corresponding, commented examples.
