SIG SAUER is serious about 6mm as a training method. The SIG SAUER ProForce P229 - the official training weapon of the U.S. Coast Guard - is now being introduced into the commercial market. The semi-automatic ProForce P229 is a full-size airsoft pistol with a metal frame and ergonomic polymer grip. The ProForce P229 is powered by green gas and has a realistic recoil. The magazine holds 25 rounds of 6mm polymer or biodegradable BBs, a Picatinny accessory rail allows for the attachment of a laser or light module.
