TIMNEY launches ultimate GLOCK match trigger

For over 77 years, Timney Triggers has set the standard for maximum precise and reliable triggers. With FERKINGHOFF, Timney brings the brand new "Ultimate Builder's Kit" (UBK) to Germany, offering a complete conversion kit for the original trigger unit of Glock pistols.

The American company revolutionized three years ago the large market of Glock match triggers from third-party manufacturers with its in-house "Alpha Competition Trigger" because it transformed the original, partially pre-tensioned Glock trigger system into a true, fully cocked Single Action trigger system with hitherto unknown, high quality. Now, the traditional US specialist goes one step further and introduces the "Ultimate Builder's Kit," a complete retrofit kit for the Austrian bestseller among polymer frame pistols with firing pin lock.

The set includes the premium trigger with the distinctive, red-anodized, straight aluminum tongue that stands perpendicular to the bore axis at the moment of firing, contributing to a clean trigger pull. It also includes the firing pin and spring, geometrically matched to the trigger bar. The firing pin and the interrupter, also included in the set, are made of heat-treated, corrosion-resistant steel, and all parts of the UBK are surface-finished with an NP3 finish. This Teflon-nickel-based finish ensures unparalleled, friction-reducing smoothness of mechanical components, with improved cleaning and care properties.

Because this complete trigger system now comes from Timney as a one-piece unit without mixing original and aftermarket parts, all components are perfectly matched. Friction resistance is reduced due to the surface finish, and maximum durability and robustness are ensured by the materials and manufacturing processes used. A trigger weight of approximately 1,130 to 1,360 grams with clear characteristics can be achieved with the Timney UBK.

The EU importer FERKINGHOFF offers the UBK for Glock fifth-generation models in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W calibers, with compatibility for the G44 .22 LR pistol. The price is 321 Euros. Furthermore, the UBK is also available for Glock Gen3 and Gen4 pistols for 339 Euros. The manufacturer also considers shooters who already own an Alpha Competition Trigger and offers the kit without the trigger.
