Russian forces continue targeting civilians in Ukraine with drone strikes, using civilian harm as a tactic. The Kremlin is preparing for future aggression in the Baltic states and considering changes in governance before the 2026 elections. Ukrainian forces have made advancements and conducted strikes on Russian infrastructure.

  1. Russian forces continue to conduct drone strikes intentionally targeting civilians in southern Ukraine, weaponizing civilian harm as an intentional tool of war.
  2. The Kremlin continues to set conditions for possible future aggression against the Baltic states.
  3. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated Ukraine’s willingness to conduct a ceasefire over the Easter holiday and/or a ceasefire on energy infrastructure strikes.
  4. The Kremlin is reportedly considering replacing three Russian governors ahead of the September 2026 elections.
  5. Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Slovyansk direction.
  6. Ukrainian forces struck oil infrastructure in Leningrad Oblast and a defense industrial plant in Voronezh Oblast.
  7. Russian forces launched 110 drones against Ukraine.
