Q has launched the LEFTY silencer, featuring Low Blow technology for effective gas control and reduced backpressure, making it cleaner and more reliable across various platforms. Its innovative design includes a 3D printed core and a welded outer shell. Specifications include a 5.56mm caliber, 14.2 oz weight, and full-auto rating.
Q released the LEFTY, a new silencer built around one simple idea: if you’re going to do flow-through, do it right. The LEFTY utilizes Q’s Low Blow technology to control gas through a directional internal flow path – reducing backpressure, lowering port pressure, and minimizing gas to the shooter. The result is a suppressor that runs cleaner, cycles more consistently, and performs reliably across a wide range of platforms, including short barrels and higher-pressure cartridges.

At the core of LEFTY is a 3D printed internal structure that integrates the endcap, allowing for complex geometry that can’t be achieved through traditional machining. This is where the work happens. The tube remains a welded outer shell for strength and durability (because why would you print a tube?), paired with a precision machined mount to ensure proper alignment and repeatability. It’s a system built with purpose… printing what matters and machining what should be machined.
