MSPO 2026:

The Full Range from WB GROUP

At the MSPO 2026 in Poland, WB GROUP showcased innovative solutions for air, land, and maritime defense, featuring the GLADIUS 2 and WARMATE 8X strike systems, the STAR 8x8 Hyperion truck, and the StormRider 550 unmanned vessel. These advancements underscore WB GROUP's commitment to modernizing armed forces capabilities.

At the MSPO defence expo in Poland, WB GROUP unveiled a range of new solutions across the air, land and maritime domains. Among more than a dozen new products and capabilities, the highlights include the GLADIUS 2 and WARMATE 8X strike systems, the X-LIFTAIR capability for FLYEYE, the STAR 8x8 Hyperion high-mobility, high-payload truck, the ZMU-30 remote weapon station and the StormRider 550 unmanned surface vessel.

The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) is the most important event for Poland’s defence sector and one of the largest defence exhibitions in Europe. The 34th edition is being held in Kielce from 8 to 11 September 2026. WB GROUP, Poland’s largest privately owned defence company, is presenting a broad portfolio of solutions designed for modern armed forces.

At its extensive pavilion in Hall 6, visitors can explore advanced unmanned systems for the land, maritime and air domains, tactical communications equipment, battlefield management and artificial intelligence software, as well as solutions designed to protect friendly forces and critical infrastructure.

The new products were unveiled during WB GROUP’s Premiere Day in the presence of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence; Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence; Michał Baranowski, Deputy Minister of Development and Technology; and numerous invited representatives of the defence industry and armed forces.

One of the key highlights was the unveiling of the new GLADIUS 2 strike system. Its WARMATE 30 effector, featuring interchangeable 30 kg warheads, has been developed in a flying-wing configuration and is powered by a turbojet engine. GLADIUS 2, ordered by the Polish Armed Forces in 2026, is designed for precision engagement of high-value targets at extended ranges.

GLADIUS 2 features reduced radar and thermal signatures. Its turbojet propulsion enables the vehicle to reach the designated area of operations rapidly. The unmanned aircraft can be launched from a container or a ground-based launcher. WARMATE 30 is fully integrated with the GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike system.

Another strike system presented in Kielce is WARMATE 8X. The loitering munition features a cruciform control-surface configuration, providing high manoeuvrability during the terminal phase of flight. It is equipped with interchangeable 8 kg warheads and is designed to deliver high-precision strikes at steep angles of attack.

WB GROUP also unveiled X-LIFTAIR, an alternative launch solution for unmanned aircraft weighing up to 30 kg. The capability was first demonstrated with FLYEYE. The UAS is lifted to the required altitude before commencing its mission, reducing battery consumption during the initial phase of flight and extending endurance. In the case of FLYEYE, powered-flight endurance increases from more than four hours to up to six hours.

The STAR 8x8 Hyperion truck also made its debut at MSPO 2026. The platform is based on proven technology and was developed through a strategic partnership involving several Polish manufacturers. The return of the STAR brand to the defence sector is driven by the objective of strengthening Poland’s technological sovereignty and national security.

The STAR 8x8 Hyperion has been developed in response to the requirements of the Polish Armed Forces. The programme has also enabled the domestic defence industry to build new capabilities for the flexible and timely fulfilment of military orders. The truck will be offered in a range of configurations, including both armoured and unarmoured cab variants.

In the land domain, in addition to the new Antares and Sirius vehicles developed for the manned-unmanned Future Task Force (FTF) platoon, WB GROUP presented small UGV-family robotic platforms and the new ZMU-30 remote weapon station. The unmanned turret can be equipped with a 30 mm cannon and, optionally, a 7.62 mm machine gun or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.

The low weight of the ZMU-30 enables its integration with light wheeled and tracked vehicles, watercraft and autonomous containerised platforms. The system features electro-optical sensors, weapon stabilisation and automatic target tracking. It can engage both ground targets and low-flying aerial threats, including unmanned aircraft.

The StormRider 550 unmanned surface vessel is another new system making its debut in Kielce. The 5.5 m modular platform is the latest addition to WB GROUP’s expanding StormRider family. Smaller and shorter than the StormRider 850 unveiled last year, the new USV can be configured for both military and civilian users, including missions related to the protection of critical infrastructure.

The solutions presented at MSPO demonstrate WB GROUP’s continued development of a multi-domain unmanned systems environment. It integrates reconnaissance, command and control, secure data exchange and strike capabilities, providing the user with full control over the decision-making cycle. These systems are built on the expertise of Polish engineers and proprietary technologies developed by WB GROUP companies.
