The first tranche K2 is full

Poland has received an additional 20 K2 Black Panther tanks, completing the delivery of 180 tanks from the initial contract with HYUNDAI ROTEM. Beginning next year, Poland will implement a new contract for 1,000 K2 tanks, which will include the production of K2PL tanks domestically.

Another 20 K2 Black Panther tanks for the Polish army have just arrived in Poland. This means that all 180 tanks from the first implementation contract with Korean manufacturer HYUNDAI ROTEM have now been delivered. Starting next year, Poland will begin implementation of the next tranche based on a new contract signed in August of this year. This also includes tanks that have already been produced. Poland is to receive a total of 1,000 K2 battle tanks, including the establishment of an industry for manufacturing K2PL tanks in Poland.
