The Falcon Searchlight by WISELED ApS is a high-performance, modular illumination system designed for military operations. It offers long-range visibility, infrared capabilities for covert missions, and NATO interoperability, making it essential for Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) operations and field deployment in challenging conditions.
In modern military operations, controlling visibility provides a decisive tactical advantage. When missions take place at night or in challenging weather, a high-performance searchlight is essential for success. WISELED ApS, a Danish specialist in illumination systems, developed the Falcon Searchlight to meet the intense demands of the contemporary battlefield. This system is a combat-proven asset, currently demonstrating its reliability in C-UAS systems in Ukraine.

The Falcon is more than just a spotlight; it is a sophisticated, modular system engineered for military standard compliance and precision. It combines a powerful adjustable spot/searchlight with added infrared output, giving operators total control over visibility. Its flexible design allows it to be mounted on vehicles, tripods, pan/tilt-platforms or operated as a handheld unit, making it suitable for a wide range of missions.

A key application for the Falcon is in Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) operations. Either if its deployed camera-systems or operators detecting and tracking smaller drones requires exceptional clarity at long distances. The Falcon’s focusable laser beam provides visible light beyond 5 kilometers, depending on conditions. This capability allows operators to identify and neutralize aerial threats long before they become a danger.

The system is a complete solution designed for 24/7 operations, ensuring constant situational awareness. It delivers the high-performance light needed for effective C-UAS defense and long-range reconnaissance.

For covert missions, the Falcon is equipped with two infrared light sources. A 860 nm infrared (IR) illuminator and an integrated IR pointer. This capacity may target areas and objects with light that is invisible to the naked eye but fully visible through night vision devices/camera sensors. This allows operators/end users to observe, maneuver, and engage targets without revealing their positions, providing a significant advantage in stealth and coordination.

Interoperability is crucial for modern military hardware. The Falcon bracket system uses a STANREC 4796 pintle interface, ensuring compatibility with existing NATO-standard tripods, swing-arms, and vehicle mounts. This seamless integration simplifies logistics and eliminates the need for proprietary hardware.
Despite its power, the Falcon features a lightweight yet rugged construction. It is built to withstand the rigors of field deployment, including vehicle vibrations and harsh environmental conditions, ensuring it remains a reliable tool when it matters most.
Key Technical Features:

WISELED’s engineering philosophy is to deliver light engineered for the mission. The Falcon searchlight embodies this commitment, providing armed forces with a critical tool to maintain the advantage in complex operational environments.
